Alzheimer’s is preventable NOW.

They want you to believe it will take a drug to correct it.

Good luck with further dependency upon your doctor; you’re all going to need it if you fall for this tripe.

Good post. Here’s what Dr. Weil has to say about it:

Alzheimer’s Disease Prevention

To help prevent the form of dementia known as Alzheimer’s Disease, do the following:

Get regular physical activity, 30 minutes of aerobic activity most days of the week. It increases the flow of blood to the brain and can lower the likelihood of Alzheimer’s by 30 to 50 percent.

Eat omega-3s. Oily fish (like wild Alaskan salmon, sardines and herring), walnuts, fortified eggs and freshly ground flaxseeds all provide omega-3 fatty acids, which are linked with reducing inflammation.

Take supplements and vitamins. Vitamins E and C are good choices, and B vitamins can help lower blood levels of homocysteine, a toxic amino acid linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer’s.

Stay mentally active. Read newspapers and books, dance, do crossword puzzles, play musical instruments, participate in ongoing education, learn a new language.

Agreed. It is preventable now. Curse the day Ancel Keys was born. Everyone needs to pay attention to GGT and Ferritin levels. No one is immune from carbohydrates.

For those suffering the beginnings of dementia, include ketones (MCTs) in your diet. The brain and other organs prefer ketone energy. Allow for 20% of your caloric intake (calories are primitive here) for cerebral energy.

Add cyclical fasting and you will begin to reverse the metabolic process.

There’s no cure, and not much that patients and their caregivers can do to stop the progression — but according to Joseph Jebelli, a neuroscientist and author of “In Pursuit of Memory: The Fight Against Alzheimer’s” (Little, Brown; out Oct. 31), hope is on the way. He estimates that there will be a medication

There!
Right there. That's where I quit reading.
The moment they say they're looking for a chemical to solve this problem, I call BS, dead end and turn the page.
