Something a little more positive than the usual news ping.
Right after church service, while we were still in our pews, I turned and kissed my wife. There was a lady who was sitting behind us who said “Hey now, no PDA”.
My response was “Showing love in God’s house might just be the only time someone sees love.”
Beautiful and true but Im not reading it. Makes me too sad.
Thanks for posting this.
That’s very sweet.
Lovely! His little girls are also learning about the kind of man they will want to marry. Fathers teach so many things to us and this is a biggie.
As a Husband of a now wheelchair bound wife I speak from the heart.
First God calls on Husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church.
Second Husband is not just a noun. it is a verb as well rember it is not just who you are it is also WHAT YOU DO!
My family thrives on having fun and teasing each other. I finally decided my love language was teasing and sarcasm.
We have a group on Facebook messenger that often goes off very funny.
The love and playfulness my wife and I exhibit has grown with us and our children. Most of them have flown the coop and that’s how we get together as a family.
Yesterday, I was stopped at a red light with a friend of mine in the car. I looked in the mirror and saw my 18 year old son creeping up behind me to bump me with his truck. I dumped my car in reverse and hit him first.
Then he hit me, then I hit him. My friend said something about my kid getting my sense of humor.
