What I would like to know is, why the NYTimes timeline of the shooting has the official timeline for the guard/maintenance guy off?

At approx. 9:59, Campos is dispatched to what we were initially told was an unrelated to the stairway, open door a few doors down from the shooter’s suite. We were then told that Campos took the stairs to the 32nd floor, couldn’t open the door, and heard drilling, but he only called maintenance about the door. He then went back down the stairs, and took the elevator up to the 32nd, taking some 6 minutes, but beating the maintenance guy by about 2 minutes. He then walks down the hall into the stairway alcove, walks out of the stairway slamming the door and back down the hallway where he is shot at approx. 10:04, according to Lombardo, about a minute before the shooting towards the event - but we don’t have shooting until 10:05 and those are the initial sets of three rounds, not a barrage down the hallway. If he called the maintenance guy at 10:06, it only took the maintence guy one minute to get from the 33rd to the 32. Why did it seem to take Campos 6 minutes to do the same?
approx. 10:05, the shooter fired two series of three shots, followed by a 32 second lag. It is assumed these were out the window at the fuel tanks, or he was checking range ( or maybe even blowing the windows after cracking them with a hammer). People in the rear go for the exits, slow at first, then faster.
At approx. 10:06 first full volley of shots was into the stage area, striking equipment and musicians’ buses and clearing the stage. This was allegedly also the time that 200 rounds were fired into the hallway, one round grazing Campos’ leg. (These are the shots that sound like talking guns - firing into the crowd and down the hallway at seemingly the same time).
Thirty-six seconds later comes a second full volley into left stage, center stage and the VIP bleachers closest to the Mandalay. The third full volley 17 seconds later was what is thought to have been general straffing of the crowd, followed by a lag of over 110 seconds.
At 10:07 the maintenance guy reports gunfire. “He looked like he fired on me when I got close to the door” (what happened to Campos warning him?) (also, see below Channel 3 article that the call was 9:59 and from Schuck not Campos) (did they make this guy’s name up - Aww Shucks?)
At 10:08, police arrive and continue to clear the event.
At 10:09, a fifth burst occurs, 3 short volleys. Fourty seconds later, a duller, sixth burst is heard from the cabbie’s recording. People at the event are not being shot at during this lull. (Was this the actual time Campos and/or the maintenance man were shot at?)
Seventh burst of fire at 10:11 towards the event, with a 20 second lull and an eighth burst apparently towards the arriving police - patrol car targeted, officer down at the intersection. Stage right is mostly cleared, ninth burst again targets stage left at 10:12.
Also at 10:12 officers report they are on the 31st floor. Tenth burst of fire commences followed by a 70 second lull. Eleventh round at 10:14, shots are choppy and unsteady.
Final burst at 10:15, less than 50 rounds in 5 seconds but steady.
Police arrive on the floor and meet Campos/Schuck at 10:18.
