Y’all should understand: this is a notable area, the modern commercial/shopping/dining area serving a large “living museum” of American revolutionary-era history. Serious choice of symbolism in positioning an IED here.

my alma mater. that is right across the street from dorms. I was the RA there in 1976.
I wonder if it REALLY was an IED, or just getting ready to trailgate.

A vehicle with three propane tanks in it caused enough concern among law enforcement that they locked down Matthew Waley Elementary for a short time Friday morning to investigate.This cobbled-together story is hard to follow, but I think the vehicle was cleared, in that it wasn't the explosive device. Hell, I carry two propane tanks in my vehicle when they need refilled.
It was some other device that was detonated, not the vehicle.
