For years I thought every American went to Greek picnics every summer Sunday on the weekend.
Found out in 2nd grade, it was just my family!
Grew up in a mixed faith house. We always went to Sunday Mass on the east side and then after Mass to Dad’s Serbian Orthodox church picnics. Oy the food! Complete with dancing priest.
