Yeah, a Marine could indeed have done the shooting no problem and not a doubt about that. 81 meters? The Marine rifle course -begins- at 200, and goes out to 500. And that ain’t sitting in a comfortable window with a soda.
But the question is, if he was a communist, why did he shoot the JFK? Did he go after the people attacking the president constantly accused of being soft on the communists? Noooo... he shoots his own guy supposedly.

Key word there is “most”. LHO’s shooting skills while in the Marines is a matter of record, and he was far from being a sniper-quality marksman.
