The missing minutes of the Watergate Tapes is right after Nixon is talking about how this stupid burglary will bring up “the whole Cuban thing...”

Several of the Watergate burglars were Cubans involved in the Bay of Pigs, with probable (proven?) CIA training/involvement. I imagine that sort of thing was already fairly well known by those “in the know”. I wonder what else the Cubans/CIA/State/Failed Bay of Pigs Fiasco might have ties to that was not known - even at the highest levels?

And not saying that Nixon had anything to do with the Assassination - but he had already tried to keep the U.S. on a good and powerful status by trying to prevent the Pentagon Papers from being released and/or as credible. Even though those papers were created during the Johnson years. (He could have perhaps even used them in his political favor - to show the errors of the Johnson Administration). What else might Nixon try to hide to keep from tarnishing the American image?

The “whole Cuban thing” refers to a CIA program that sent payments to the Mob to kill Castro. When this was disclosed to the Kennedy brothers (it was practically a dual presidency) JFK ordered it closed down. But it wasn’t closed down. When the Mob (and spare me, all, it was obviously a Mob hit) killed JFK, the CIA was blackmailed into silence thanks to their own stupidity.

The Mob never made any authentic attempt to off Castro. The closest thing was having a future Watergate burglar, Frank Sturgis (nee Frank Angelo Fiorini), cheek-by-jowl with Castro, holding a weapon, and just never pulling the trigger. Sturgis jumped ship, into the anti-Castro exile movement, but was neither Cuban, nor a CIA employee, despite his background in military intelligence. He was a mobster, but also operated as a snitch.

After the Mob lost Havana, they also lost a big chunk of the drug trafficking that the Castro brothers now control.

Answer: Yes, It’s all tied together. The 4 Cubans that were in Dallas, went MIA, never to be interviewed, strings of dead material witnesses in the months-years there after.

Look up: Project ‘JM Wave’- Operation Mongoose. Same highly motivated players were orchestrated and acting on behalf of The Agency.

No coincidences in politics. Dead men tell no tales.
