If the Dallas Cowboy fans support is slipping, then the whole NFL should be worried.
.
It may already be too late for any action.
This boycott is real and gaining momentum

I'm not sure this is a 'boycott', I think it might be much worse for the NFL.
My wife has a saying, "the opposite of love, is not hate, it's indifference". I think a large number of fans have (at least I know I have), become indifferent to the NFL. I used to be passionate about watching NFL games. I didn't care who was playing, I would watch. I loved going down the street to the local sports bar, drinking a few beers, eating some wings, watching football, and hanging out with other football lovers.
Things have changed. I'm not saying I'm boycotting watching the NFL, but now I'm kind of indifferent to it. I'll still watch 'my team' (the Bengals, and they SUCK), but I don't really have a desire to watch any of the other games.
The real problem I see for the NFL, is I don't see this as a 'boycott', so I don't see the NFL as having a way to get people back. I really don't think if all the players decided to stand, and be respectful, that fans would come back. I really believe a lot of people have lost passion for the NFL, just as I have.
