Are you saying there is a spent casing on top of the revolver?

Yes.

I assume you are looking at the spot between the lower portion of the cylinder and the trigger guard? Is that not the lower frame of the gun?

It could be, but IIRC the revolvers I used had the cylinder-hinge as part of the frame proper (ie inset).
That looks like some silver-in-color casings (steel or aluminum, I think) I've seen a few times for .410 slug/sabot rounds.

Just for the record, I don’t believe this guy shot himself with any of the three guns (2ARs, 1revolver) that are in close proximity to his body. I’m not saying one of those guns didn’t kill him, but he wasn’t the one pulling the trigger.

Yeah, I think I understand your gut-feeling there. Something's definitely wrong about the whole thing. (At least insofar as the official story goes.)

Thank you for your reply. I’m still not sure that’s not the lower frame of the gun, but disregarding that point; I can’t work out in my mind, the position of his body,(straight legs, straight arms at his side) and where the gun(s) are in proximity to his perfectly straight body. What position was he in when he shot himself, standing, ass on the floor, laying all the way down on the floor? You take anyone of those positions ,and then look how his body ended up, plus the position(s) of the gun(s) and I don’t see how he could end up that way, I bet you don’t either. Those shell casings in the blood, how did they get there? Shouldn’t there be blood on at least one of them, if they were kicked and rolled into the blood, or blood spatter from blowing out the back of his head, if they were already just laying there? His “suicide” just seems a little suspicious to me.
