Ball game. Astros win. One down, three to go. A minor inconsequential hiccup there in the ninth....

I know it’s a cliche, that anything can happen in a short series.

See what happens. Yanks were down 2-0 in a best of five series against Cleveland and came back. Now they are in a position where they would have to win 4 out of the remaining 6 games against the Astros. Stay tuned.

Wouldn’t call it a “minor inconsequential hiccup”. Underscores the fact that Houston used up the best of its not so great bullpen. They will not be in good shape tomorrow if Verlander is shaky or cannot go more than six innings. The Yankees are very familiar with Verlander and will come out swinging. Also it should be noted the Yankees terrify opponents in the late innings. They came up one hit short in the eigth and Houston was palpably uneasy in the ninth. If the Yankees win tomorrow, Houston will crumble when they come to New York. Yankees will win this series in six games at the most.
