Hollywood and DC values

I have never been convinced of the pedophile conspiracy surrounding the high rollers in elite circles, Clintons, Podesta, etc. But these Weinstein revelations which were obviously common knowledge and ignored has me considering what could be possible. When child stars have been open with the abuse in Hollywood one has to second guess what could be true. I no longer put anything beyond what evil men and women would do and what others would condone or ignore. If I didn't have God in my life I would be capable of some pretty bad things too. Thoughts?

I’ve heard lots of honest people say belief in God is what stops them from doing bad things.

Make a list of every human depravity, the libs have defended

them or ignored them in the past.

Why? because at the very least, many libs harbor these

fantasies within their own hearts, and some have undoubtedly

engaged physically in those behaviors.

quite a few libs are followers of Gaia, that entity views

humans as a parasitic species worthy only of extinction.

With that in mind, do you really think that those with that belief will restrain themselves?

Everyone has a Conscience put there by God.. Thankfully most listen to that Conscience.

My thought is that, yes, we all have it within us to do bad things. I was brought up with the idea of "that of God in every man", so yes, this is God in my life, but it's internalized, I guess. It's not dependent on doctrine or ritual. But, it is real to me.

Sexual abuse is always more about power than about sex. When it comes to kids, the power imbalance is already profound, but when you add the ability to “make or break” a kid’s career in show business, it just amplifies what is broken in these people. Add the aspect of children being “forbidden fruit” and you get what we’ve been hearing about for years. It’s pretty easy to see that more pleasure can be found in a willing, experienced adult partner - so it’s got to be more than just sex. It’s power - “because they can”.

I think it exists wherever power differences exist, from teacher-student, pastor-churchgoer, and within families - but also where money brings kids into contact with adults in a dependent way, such as we see in the movie and music industries.

If God or “having God in your life” is the only thing that keeps you from “doing bad things” you have no sense of morality on your own. I’m sure I’m taking that the wrong way, correct?

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/there_but_for_the_grace_of_God_go_I

Allegedly from a mid-sixteenth-century statement by John Bradford, “There but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford”, in reference to a group of prisoners being led to execution.

A paraphrase from the Bible, 1 Corinthians 15:8-10, which states, “Last of all, as to one born abnormally, he appeared to me. For I am the least of the apostles, not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am...”.

I often reflect on Revelation where mountains are falling and people still refuse to repent. That is my natural man.

There but for the grace of God go you and I..................

I have no hesitation to consider the existence of a globalist/ elitist pedophilia culture.

Depravity plus opportunity: Wealth and power allow for anything.

That Revelation reference is a stunning case in point. They know God was behind the devastation but refused to repent.

A sense of morality does not equal the fortitude to act on it.

I think you are mistaken.

You are correct. I do have morality on my own but the standard is self serving and inconsistent. Sound familiar? The more I realize my own sin, apart from God’s saving grace, the less I see myself as better than others. It’s still ongoing and has taken me a long time to realize. I don’t agree with wrong doing however.

I have another question. Why is all this about Weinstein and others finally coming out? What changed? It seems strange. Rush had a caller who worked for the NY office and she said maybe money problems which Rush agreed that would cause loss of fear. But I don’t know. Is there more to this story? Is the earth actually quaking under Hollywood’s feet?

Part of me wonders if Trump has some people doing behind-the-scenes maneuvering.

It is true. There really is pedophilia out there, and it is easier to not get caught if you are among the powerful. So pedos choose to get into positions of power. I was a victim. No one believes this powerful person would EVER do such a thing, but that is his cover. And my abuser thought he was a good catholic. I don’t know what they tell themselves to believe such.

In my religion we believe we all have an urge to do what is right, as well as an urge to do what is wrong. It is up to us to listen to the right one and follow it.
