Imagine the nerd at NASA deciding that Pluto isn’t a planet and then having to tell the Voyager 2 Team that the flyby of Pluto really wasn’t a “planet” flyby, per se, but more of a, meh, let’s call it a flyby of a walnut. Whaddaya say?

It is still a planet. Just classified as a dwarf planet.

20% the mass of our moon. There is another dwarf planet orbiting our sun with a mass slightly larger than Jupiter.
