Is she insane to start with?
Why would such a girl go out withOUT a reserve of cab fare home, she’d be sure to have left over? Why would she not call a cab from the establishment she was leaving instead of expecting to hail one “somewhere” along the way?
No I am not subscribing to the religious fundamentalists idea that young women in typical western style “evening clothes” out alone late at night is “just asking for it”, ANYWHERE in the world. But for such a young woman, in Londonstan of all places, to NOT recognize her area is teaming with folks who do think like that is just plane crazy.
There are times and places where you have to recognize your “rights” might not be enough to defend you, and take precautions relative to your true situation, not merely what you have the “right” to expect.
