“Rocky Mountain High” should be the state song now a days.

I know someone who’s dog ate marijuana left behind by a previous camper. The dog got really sick so they rushed back home to an emergency vet. The bill came to $700. The vet told them that they have at least one person per day who had eaten marijuana. This is in California. Has PETA spoken out on this problem? Probably not, since all left wing groups are really the same.

Now we see why Colorado is now a deep blue state.

I feel for my Unclen and Aunt who moved to Colorado more than 30 years ago. They saw California was slowly going to the dogs, so the escaped to Colorado....Now Colorado has become California.

Colorado’s legal marijuana dispensaries generated over $1 billion in sales during the first eight months of 2017 — a 21 percent year-over increase putting the Centennial State on path to having its best year yet in terms of retail pot sales.

Allow me to mention the obvious: not all of that money goes to local governments as taxes. There are a lot of people in the industry growing very wealthy - and they tend to support "progressive" politicians and ballot measures, NOT conservative causes. The same can be said for an awful lot of the people who move to 'legal' States to work in the industry, or consume the products.

Colorado has changed very rapidly, as a result of legalization. When I moved back to the Denver area in 2007, it still seemed a lot like the State I remembered from the '70s and '80s. That is no longer true; the State really ought to change its name to "Colofornia."

Just my opinion...

Wonder what it looks like after they net out the increased costs for medical care, social services, law enforcement/judicial, unemployment, homeless services, etc.
