It is common practice for a hotel to contract to a security firm, not hire their own security personnel. Perhaps that was the arrangement?
I was a maintenance worker at a mall 30 years ago and we were not security but if there was a lost child or somne one had gotten hurt we were there befor security usually and had to deal with it tell security got there this was because there was only one security for every three people on maintenance doing janitorial work. I am betting that’s the case in the hotel casinos

Still in the state of Nevada a security person needs a license. Nevada requires licenses for almost everything.

I see this thought often. From what I have read, Jason Aldean was the last performer singing his last song. If not the concert, what do people believe was on the shooter’s “schedule”.

PI’s in CA it’s certainly not required. I have no idea why security people in NV would be required to have a PI license. Does not make any sense to me.
