“Roy Scheider was in that too. Another good actor.”
Damn good. It’s really no mystery why most of today’s movies suck: The actors themselves just aren’t good.
All the “that guy” and a few “that chick” types are going/gone. And they could act, unlike the himbos and bimbos of today.
I noticed it became a problem by the late ‘90s on the Late Night talk shows. There were fewer and fewer “stars” I cared to see or listen to. The ones that were interesting and stood out were dying off. Today, there’s almost zero.
A good chunk is political, too. With everyone having the same viewpoint (far left), they could swap out one actor for another and it’s all the same mouthing the same lies and garbage/filth/hate. No diversity of thought or interest. Hollyweird doesn’t want REAL “differences.”
