How is any of what’s alleged a federal beef?

Looks to me like shameless grandstanding to entertain barking seals. What’s the federal crime?

Just some possible crimes:

1. Income Tax Evasion if payoffs to victims deducted as business expense

2. Bribery if any federal official was given anything of value, including campaign contributions, to cover up his actions

3. Kidnapping if any of his victims were detained against their will

4. Communication from one state to another state with the purpose of covering up a state crime could become a federal issue. This could include conspiracy laws if some other person assisted in intimidation or payoff to cover up a crime.

You think Trump got the NYT to write this story? Why?

...

Not necessarily, but he could have played some role. Not the least of which was keeping the Clintons out of the White House. I don’t think this story would have happened if they were in power.

And i do believe Trump has fed information to the NYTimes before, like his tax returns.

Well, if that’s enough, fine by me. Especially since so many of CA’s and NYS’s AGs turned a blind eye.

Hope the FBI puts the AGs under a microscope while they’re at it. That kind of corruption is just begging for federal scrutiny.

Oh for sure I think this story is an example of the Clintons losing power...in fact the entire left is being exposed to be a bunch of lunatics.

But I read an article this a.m. in which the author said maybe this is because HW violated one of the cardinal rules of left wingism...he gave a speech about how the Israelis are doing a good job of protecting themselves because they have guns and he was about to make a movie about the ghetto in Warsaw during WWII and how not being armed at all led to the massacre there. Of course the left can't have anyone say that! And this would explain why HW right away came out and said that he would make an anti-NRA and anti-Trump movie to atone for his sins.

To me that makes a ton of sense.

Anything to avoid investigating stuff that actually means something to the country and future of the country, like the decade-long dissemination of security secrets by the Awans; the sale of same by Hillary Clinton. Yes, Harvey W. was and is a turdball. Every woman who was abused over the past 30 years by him was justifiably outraged and felt threatened but unfortunately is nothing they are not used to. And most became profoundly wealthy in their chosen field.

You never know about these things. Sometimes they can take a life of their own. I didn’t want to look it up, but I seem to remember ex Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert being convicted of a federal crime for paying his own money to cover up a sex crime he could not be prosecuted for due to the time elapsed.
