17 weapons. I’m not saying the “innocent whale” theory is correct though.

Also, if someone is alone why would they need 17 weapons for this and risk blowing their cover?

I think more likely he was involved with some terrorist or criminal types for money. Who either framed him or he participated in the plot and got left as a patsy.

100% BS he made any consistent money gambling at a glorified slot machine. More likely he only reported the winnings to cover up some ill gotten money.

I’ll bet this security guard has seen something we dont know about yet and is being protected. Or is being convinced not to talk...

I don’t think a gun sale makes sense.

I also don’t believe he was so crazed that he wanted to surround himself with extraneous guns and ammunition for the thrill of it.

That leaves two options, IMO.

He may have been planning something that involved others, but for some reason the others either didn’t show up, or they turned on him and then managed to escape.

The other alternative is that he was completely framed, and the weapons were used as props.

I think the plan that went sideways is the best explanation. That is why I am highly skeptical that Paddock did this completely by himself.
