The position of Secretary of Homeland Security has been vacant since July, when current White House chief of staff John Kelly left for his present position. Four unnamed administration officials confirmed to Politico on Wednesday that Trump will nominate Nielsen, a veteran of the department who served as Kelly’s chief of staff, and reportedly has his absolute confidence and support.
"She would be the first person to run the department who has actually worked there," an unnamed person "close to the administration" told Politico. "She has a deep familiarity."
Nielsen's structured way of working has reportedly ruffled some feathers in the White House, but her methods may have improved the efficiency of the chief of staff’s office.

So why choose those people? Are there no conservatives with the abilities needed to run departments?
Give me a high-end digital camera and someone attractive (not saying this person is), and I can pretty much guarantee that I can take a photo that would put the worst light on that individual. There are photographers whose job is to do just that.
I’m so disappointed in many of PDJT’s appointments. There must be a qualified individuals who don’t hate Trump. Why doesn’t he appoint one of THEM?

The WORST FAIL of this administration was that of human resources. I could never imagine private citizen Donald Trump, billionaire owner of a corporate empire, would hire those that do not fit exactly to the role of the position and overall mission statement of the corporation while mirroring the personal values of the CEO.
Is he taking bad advice because he feels it is not his area of expertise, or is he being forced to choose.
