Assuming this is true (if it's not then I see a lawsuit in the future) I find it interesting that the WaPo decided to wait until after the GOP primary to publish this. Clearly they are hoping to help bring about an upset win for the Dims. All of which said, this is not exactly a criminal scandal. But, again if true, it does provoke some questions.

That’ll change maybe a dozen votes, mostly in Mobile.

I don’t care...

It’s not illegal.

It’s probably more lie than truth (from the media)

Don’t know if its true, suspect it is FAKE NEWS and don’t give a damn if it were.

This is just the beginning of the lies and trash the GOP Establishment and their companions in crime, the Dems, will pour on Moore for defying their money machine.

Soon we will hear crazy Joe Biden wailing about Moore wanting to put black folks back in chains.

WaPo, go screw uyourself.

King David committed adultery and murder. One of Jesus’s titles is what again? Son of David?

Not comparing the two really, just won’t condemn a man that’s being attacked by demons from hell.

If it proves to be true, it might keep a few people home. It will not convince people to vote for the ethically challenged Democrat, in my opinion of my neighboring state.

But privately, Moore had arranged to receive a salary of $180,000 a year for part-time work at the Foundation for Moral Law, internal charity documents show. He collected more than $1 million as president from 2007 to 2012, compensation that far surpassed what the group disclosed in its public tax filings most of those years.

...

Well, in the next paragraph the Compost says they couldn’t afford it, so I’d say that’s why it wasn’t disclosed. They didn’t pay it.

How many blind eyes has the WAPO turned on sweet deals for Democrats?

Thanks to WaPo for reminding me that it is time to make another donation to the Roy Moore for Senate Campaign. I know they think we here in LA (Lower Alabama) are just a bunch of uneducated rednecks but we are wise enough to know BS when we hear it. This will not change to outcome one bit. With a rebel yell we cry Moore, Moore, Moore.

When the charity couldn’t afford the full amount, Moore in 2012 was given a promissory note for back pay eventually worth $540,000 or an equal stake of the charity’s most valuable asset,

...

Maybe he’s holding the note so he can donate it after it appreciates and get a nice tax deduction for his charity work.

Liberals do the same with disgusting pieces of so called art and the Compost has no problem with it.

Sounds like he took a part-time job that “democrats” usually get.

I wouldn’t say getting a promissory note instead of a paycheck is a “regular salary.”

Perhaps the WaPo reporters could get a promissory note instead of a paycheck. You could ask them about it then.

It didn’t bug them that Clinton did much worse by funneling foreign foundation donations into her Presidential Campaign.

The media today doesn’t report ‘news’ when it happens. It spikes stories and sits on reports. Then they release the information when it can do the most damage to republicans and conservatives. It’s too bad that they won’t do this kind of investigative journalism on their party, the democrats, and the democrats’ donors. Instead it is left to the internet based journalists to look after the interests of conservatives.

Will be awaiting further ‘honest’ disclosure.

It is interesting this was known yet not released until AFTER Moore won his primary (as another stated). Look towards Yurtle the turtle if searching for bad press origins.

A known fact he’d rather see a d’rat victory rather than a r in that seat if the r is not yet a rino.

The laws that were broken? Non disclosure mistakes happen all the time. Just ask Democrat senators, they will tell you.

Heck, the dems are never prosecuted for anything.

WaPo is late to the party. Yurtle and his buttbuddy PAC Senate leadership Foundation spent $30 million for TV Ads throwing this mud for months leading up to the primary. The ads had ZERO effect then, and the WaPo will have ZERO effect now.

Moore got a promissory note that he has held for 5 years without demanding payment. That is not exactly a salary.

Alabama voter yawned at Yurtle's meddling, and they won't even notice more mudslinging from DC LIEberals. If anything this will just strengthen Moore's anti-establishment bonifides.
