I don’t think we completely disagree on this...I think it boils down to what we mean by “stand by a friend”, IOW, defining the terms.
We could probably agree it doesn’t mean blindly supporting someone while condemning the accusers.
Which, by the way, is not what I think you are saying...just to be clear, and I don't think she is either.
I don't think what she said "...Hes never harmed me or did anything wrong to me, she added. Weve done several movies together, and so I think everyone needs to stop. I think its wrong..." makes much sense.
 Just because he never harmed her and they made movies together is a complete non-sequitur to this issue.
 Yes, we do agree. In this case, supporting Weinstein means calling him and telling him to do the right thing by focusing on his family and on making amends with any women he has offended/injured with whom he has not already made amends. I even think Weinstein’s brother did him a favor be forcing his removal from his post.
