He didn’t “finally figure out.” He gave them their chance to act in the interests of the nation and the people. They declined. Now they are finding there is a price.

Corker voted for repeal of Obamacare. There are 52 Republicans in the Senate. We can only lose two and still have a majority with Pence's tie-breaker vote. Even if we hold all of them, we are still eight votes short of breaking a filibuster. How, exactly, does it help to get into p***ing matches with people who are on your side?
