Mike Ditka may want to stick to football after his most recent interview.
I was struck that this writer expresses this opinion, based on what are actually some mild comments by Ditka on the protests.
Clearly this writer has a liberal bias. Just saying. Why should he stick to football? Are his opinions really that outrageous, and we are supposed to be shocked, and offended, that he criticizes the protests?
I live in the neighborhood where some of the Dallas Cowboys first moved in the late 60s early 70s.
There is a house which is still called "The Ditka House."
And Vince Lombardi would fine players for being late to a practice...you can only imagine...
Mike, ol’ boy, you will never work again.
Work ethics ..opportunity for all..crazy talk.
Yes, and the comments are disabled on this article.
This author only survives by hiding behind the internet.
IMHO,The writer is just another liberal fop. Mike’s comments were deadnuts in the center of the bullseye.
I agree with Mr. Ditka.
The anonymous authors hiding behind the “Post Sport Desk” moniker are a bunch of simpering faggots.
Imagine what the 1985 NFL would have done to players making the Black Power Salute after a sack.
Some might get bent out of shape over the 100 yrs remark. I’d say it’s more like 50. Technicalities, LOL.
Ditka will be labeled a racist and out of touch with reality. In short, no real discussion on race will happen...because the left really doesn’t want really want to discuss what’s happening in the black community.
COUNTRY??????????????????

Gunny G:
“Country” ~ What IS A “Country” Really?
Is It Geographical like from sea to shining sea, Political like USA, Etc. Or, Like Robert E.. Lee Said...well, at the start of the “civil war” he referred to his country as Virginia!

Not so much from a legal/pc point of view but what people think of it as, then and now???

Ironic, isn’t it? These stinking players are the ones who “decided to not stick with football.” Now the Post Sports writers have taken it on themselves to determine that everybody else must “stick with football” and should not make political comment. Hypocritical & inconsistent!
Whenever I see or hear Ditka, I always say (jokingly), “It’s your fault!” He was considering a run for the Senate in Illinois and decided not to run; look who we got instead.
Good on Ditka. Bad on the msm. Perhaps the msm should stick to the facts after this most recent foolish rant.

100% correct!
ATTABOY MIKE!!
