My bet..illegal alien..only an illegal would be released from custody..remember, they are the protected class here, the rest of us, not so much..my prayers go out to this beautiful mother and her family

Illegal Alien hit her. They don’t release info the so ICE can’t pick her up. She skip bail and head back to Mexico and then come back under another name.

If alcohol,drugs, speeding or other negligence was involved, throw the book at the driver.
Drunk drivers are rarely held for any length of time, even if they kill people. I just hope that she had some liability insurance, so the husband/father can get some compensation. Six children without a mother.

Its LA..they just passed a law saying that you can donate AIDS tainted blood KNOWINGLY and not get in trouble for it..you can also spread AIDS knowingly and not get in trouble for it..taking a human life is now considered a misdemeanor

I am appalled that the suspect is not being held on felony motor vehicle homicide, and no bail. SAD
Heartbreaking. Anyone who expects fairness in life is naive. It’s this sort of senseless occurrence that causes many people to question the existence of a benevolent higher being.
