Yeah well Indians discovered America before Leif. Columbus is the first discoverer that resulted in the world knowing about America. That’s why we celebrate columbus.

I heard someone on a talk show say how bad columbus was to the Indians and therefore we should celebrate Leif erikson day. Like the Vikings were kind gentle people. :-). The whole world was ugly back then and still is.
