I played football growing up because I had two brothers. We always had a game going.

Moffitt is an idiot. That said I didn’t think that Newton’s comment or bemusement was sexist or offensive. He probably was amused that he was being questioned about routes by a female. The reporter should have shrugged it off

Love your comment... I had Eight Brothers growing up and I (a female) was the best at throwing the football with a tight spiral. I love sports, was actually covering high school sports as a correspondent when I was 19. Unfortunately, I had to get full-time work and had to let go my $5 a story job with the newspaper. Currently I am leading my office in picking the Nfl Winners.

The former player’s comment is ignorant.
