I know how he feels, I wouldn't cry when I had really bad pain once, but the tears flowed without my control. I muttered something like "I think we have a probl..." and heard somebody saying "so many grains of (something)" and I was back to sleep!
Anytime I broke a bone, I would start laughing. It’s just the way I cope with pain.
