Only in that it calms it down - Valium is a tranquilizer. People don’t go postal from it.
It is not when they are on it but when they are coming off it which I can attest can be days. My wife took two of those of that dose to prep for a back procedure. She absolutely lost two days of memory and would go off on the littlest things fr almost two weeks after.
