Two reasons, I think. One, the procedure is pricy—I paid about $1,200 ten years ago. The other is that it works best for women with light skin and dark hair, because the laser interacts with the pigment. A woman who has dark skin will get burned, and a light-skinned woman with blond hair might not have any significant hair removal.
The treatment worked very well for me, and I am very happy with the result. No more shaving. No more having to plan ahead when I want to wear a dress, shorts, or swimsuit. It’s awesome.
