We (former Infantry & Armor) have listened to another video taken from a higher floor of the Manadalay and are convinced it is .30 cal. and either an M60 or an M240 (RPD or RPKM). It is definitely not 5.56 and not a bump fire arrangement which as someone else has posted takes a lot of practice to make it function smoothly.

Doesn't sound like an M-60 to me....but my only experience with ‘em was up close and personal...long time ago.
