First season was good. Love Rhona Mitra
The gal they have on now: is it my imagination or does she always look like her face is coated in wax?
Subject: Your book shown on The Last Ship tv series
Hi Rush:
Not sure if anyone has written to you yet about this, but I figured I'd give it a shot in case you hadn't heard about it. I'm just starting to watch the most recent episode of The Last Ship, which airs on TNT on Sunday nights. You may even watch it yourself. I record everything I watch on my DVR. Two minutes into the episode (Season 4, Episode 7 titled "Feast), Tom Chandler is pictured in front of a glass bookcase. Inside the case are a group of hard-back books without their covers. I got curious, and stopped the recording, then back-tracked to see if I could read the titles of any of the books as I'm an avid reader. Your book "See I Told You So" is the third one from the left, snuggled in between Dale Brown's "Strike Force" and James Patterson's "Alex Cross's Trial". Unfortunately, Bill Clinton's book "My Life" is next to Patterson's book. I guess they felt compelled to put that in there. Next to Clinton's book is "Point of Origin" by Patricia Cornwall, book 9 in her Dr. Kay Scarpetta series. Yours is the only book I've read inside that bookcase.
Thanks for all you do. I've been listening to you since Desert Storm.
We are not worthy...bump
“When the season started, I was concerned that the series might start falling prey to politically correct writing...”
No it fell to a crappy story line that is just stupid.
Then it gets revealed that the lesbian lover was a huge traitor who stabbed the U.S. in the back, and then stabbed (and killed) her naval officer girlfriend.
And I will admit to getting a chuckle at how much that must have ticked off any lefties who watch that show....
