I just cant figure out how he was able to assemble a virtual armory in his hotel room(s)?"
I assume their is security footage from the hotel, parking lot, sidewalks, etc that is being looked at. That said, how hard could it be to walk through a Vegas hotel lobby with luggage containing numerous guns & ammo?
I don't expect any hotel employees to give much thought to just some guy/hotel guest arriving with luggage & wondering what exactly might be in it, even if it requires more than one trip through the hotel & up to the room.

If someone has never been in a Vegas hotel, it might be difficult to see how he could bring up to his room what he did.
- There is a steady stream of people walking around Vegas hotels carrying suitcases, backpacks, bags and even loaded bellman carts at nearly all hours of the day (it's Vegas after all).
- The same person could walk to and from their parked car, to and from elevators, several times a day carrying a bag(s) and not cause suspicion. The elevators in a busy Vegas hotel often have wait lines. There are people constantly coming and going, partying in rooms, going to their rooms to change clothes, take a nap, etc.
- An AR-15 type weapon can be transported in a backpack, along with several loaded mags.[1]
- Over several days time, making several trips a day, many weapons and ammo can be carried in using nothing more than a backpack and/or a rolling suitcase or two.

(HOW CAN A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN'S STATUS BE "GOVERNED" BY GREAT BRITAIN? - Leo Donofrio (2009))
To follow up on this...
23 guns in the room (at least 1 was a 'small' weapon, a revolver, the alleged suicide weapon).
He's alleged to have checked in on Sept 28th. The shooting took place late on Oct 1st. Depending on check in time, that's 3 to 4 days to bring the stuff in.
"Worse" case for him by himself, that's 6 to 8 trips per day, assuming only 1 bag with 1 gun per trip.
No doubt he was able to fit more than 1 gun per bag or suitcase per trip and not doubt used several bags a few times...especially during the day of check in. He might have only needed to average 2 or 3 trips a day.
Definitely nothing that would be cause for alarm in a big, busy Las Vegas hotel over the weekend.

Makes a lot of sense. Vegas must be an incredibly busy place.
