I like Alfredo but sometimes the nutmeg can be overpowering.
Fresh Alfredo sauce made from butter, cream and parmasean cheese is great. The stuff in jars is made with xanthan gum, and is bland and slimey. If you don’t know what xanthan gum is, you may be better off.
