“Their country” is not the US. It’s a foreign brand now.

Watch for lost leader sales in the coming weeks to boost interest. Not for me.

I’d love to tell you that I could make my own little difference with anheuser bush products like I started doing this year by not watching the NFL, but I honestly can’t remember the last time I bought one of their beers. Any of them. I have very rarely consumed them, but that’s only when I’m at social events where no craft beers or microbrews are available.

Stop buying their beer

Can't. Never started.

I don’t drink much at all, but local crafts were already my favorite

From Conservative tribune:

“Anheuser-Busch has set up an option on its consumer hotline specifically for fans to register their feelings on the recent national anthem protests in the NFL.

So, if you call (800) DIAL BUD — or (800) 342-5283, if you’re not terribly good at working these things out on your own — the first option on the menu will be one for registering how you feel about the anthem protests.

“If you are calling with questions or comments about Anheuser-Busch’s sponsorship of the NFL, press one,” the recorded message says.

Pressing one will get you this: “At Anheuser-Busch, we have a long heritage of supporting the nation’s armed forces, veterans and military dependents. The national anthem is a point of pride for our company and for the 1,100 veterans that we employ. Please feel free to share your feedback after the tone.”

Give ‘em a call. You know what to do.

The boycott has died down a lot in the last week. I work for one of the companies who sponsors the NFL, and the social media storm has passed.

Wasn’t Anheusher-Busch purchased by a muslim outfit, or run by a muslim as the CEO?

I don’t drink much beer. A Lonestar Long Neck works for me.

I had a small tavern in Seattle for a couple of years in the early 80s. One of my distributors handled Lone Star. It wasn’t a bad beer. Since then, I’ve never seen it again here in WA State.

My personal favorite anymore is Becks and some of the Red Hook brews.

I used to grab a 12-pack of Bud Light when heading out to play golf, usually taking half of them home. (I feel so ashamed)

Done with AB forever.

If I wanted bottled water, Bud Light would be the last on my list.

Keep us informed--unlike the NFL, we need to hear the truth even if we don't like it.

Some of us boycotters are in this for the long haul--thanks for reminding us of the challenge ahead.

I like challenges. They bring out the best in people. :-)

Love me a Black Hook, and it’s been awhile. I used to visit the brewery when I was docked in Seattle (Coast Guard) Specks carries Red Hook here in Houston.
