Barbara Streisand. The “30deg downward angle” would actually be beneficial to the trajectory of the bullets. And all he had to do was keep the site on the big, shiny, bright lights of a big concert venue and let the bullets land where they may. If you put 1000 balloons in a small area and shot from 1,000 feet away, you’d still hit something. And I doubt he had a fully automatic weapon, at most he might have had a bump stock. Either way, he didn’t need to have a full auto rifle. I can empty a 30 round mag pretty damn quick just squeezing the trigger one at a time.

The Sheriff said yesterday they recovered “at least one” full auto.
I can say from personal experience he didn’t do this with a bump stock. From 500 yards he could not keep it to a 5 acre field of fire.
And a bump stock is stuttered and intermittent. Not fluid and steady.
All the firing I heard on recordings was most certainly full auto.
