Yes! Meant to tell you that 'zelig' had a brief conversation with him at Hammond Stadium in Ft. Myers during BP at a Twins game we attended in March.
Many of the Twins on tonight's roster were former New Britain Rock Cats, which used to be the local AA (Twins) team here in central CT.
The former Rock Cats have now morphed into the Hartford Yard Goats (barf!), AA affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
We liked the Twins affiliation better. AND the Rock Cats name. Who wants to root for a stupid goat??
We always exchange greetings with him during Spring Training since he joined the Twins. Great fun watching him mature following his two seasons as a Marauder—stayed at high A an extra year due to his age. He is a bright young man.
