They should never have made any sequels or antecedents to Star Wars I (1977). This was a classic--at the time I saw it, I thought it was the best movie I had ever seen. None of the follow-ons that I have watched have even come close to its greatness.

I agree. I agree with you a lot, don’t I? I oftentimes make videos because I’m a completist, but I never watch anything but the original 3 Star Wars movies. They are classics and I feel good after seeing them. The others are complex, dark and depressing. I’d rather watch the original Indy Jones movie.

The Empire Strikes Back
and
The Return of the Jedi

at least rounded out the story a bit, and we learned of Luke’s parentage, and that Leah was his twin sister (whom he KISSED in #1 Eyew), but other than providing those services, the additional movies could not hold a candle to the FIRST one, which broke the mold IN MY VERY HUMBLE OPINION.
