Although her Facebook page appears to have been removed and her Twitter account is protected, the Daily Caller was the first to report that a “top legal executive at CBS, Hayley Geftman-Gold,” used Facebook to inform her social media followers that she is “not even sympathetic” with the 50-plus murdered and 400-plus hospitalized after a mass shooting in Las Vegas Sunday night.
Screen shots captured by the Daily Caller (see below) show that the “VP, Senior Counsel, Strategic Transactions at CBS” wrote in the wake of the massacre, “If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing.”
Geftman-Gold then reportedly added, “I’m actually not even sympathetic bc [sic] country music fans often are Republican gun toters.”

Hardly surprising. The president of CBS, Les Moonves, is a card-carrying liberal, but he likes making money (current compensation is north of $60 million a year). Les also spends a lot of money on country-related programming and knows a lot of CBS viewers live in Trump country. You know, the kind of folks who like country music and watch “NCIS.”
Against that backdrop, a legal VP who can’t contain her contempt for “Repugs” suddenly becomes expendable. What a coincidence.
Next comes her ‘sincere’ apology. She didn’t mean it. She was just angry. That’s not who she is...She sends condolences to the families.. blah blah blah blah .
I can almost write her response.

Some leftists like country music but it is the longhair, outlaw, alternative, and ethnographic kinds of country music.
I prefer to call it folk music. ;-)
I was speaking of traditional country, by the way—not “progressive country.” Progressive is a little loud, and bluesy and bar-oriented for my liking. Don’t really care much for pop music in general and tend to prefer the quieter kinds of independent music and old fashioned stuff.
Fox News just reported on this and made no mention that she had been fired although CBS did make a comment something to the fact she did not work for them directly and we do not agree with what she said.

Home grown and Jewish. The type that think only the Government should be armed. Rather shallow thinking, further proof they don’t teach meaningful history in schools anymore.
