CS Lewis, a prolific writer and theologian died the same day as Kennedy. Because of the Kennedy death, his was completely overshadowed.

The same thing happened with Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.

And I can remember that week started off with the passing of Ed “Here’s Johnny” McMahon.

My memory can go back to about this time in 1985 when it was Rock Hudson, Yul Brynner, and Johnny Olson within one or a couple of days.
