Is the “fully automatic” report confirmed? Are there many fully automatic weapons in criminal hands? My understanding is they’re difficult and very expensive to acquire legally. A criminal looking to buy one on the street would really need some contacts to pull this off. A man who bought the piece legally and then embarked on a shooting spree would have to be a for-real political terrorist, or else, yeah, a certified “just-snapped” nut job.
