NFL players constantly doing good deeds? When?

Certain teams have very active community engagement organizations that encourage the players to pick a cause (literacy programs, Make a Wish, and childhood illnesses are common), and they help them set up player foundations supporting them.

The Patriots in particular expect every player to support not only their individual event, but team-sponsored events. Many players keep these going in the Boston area long after they change teams or leave the league.

Not sure how relevant it is, but they do exist.

That’s excellent. Glad to know that some of the players are involved in their communities.
