I know a woman who is still single and her biological clock is ticking so she decided to go for artificial insemination to have her own baby, which she is referring to as *MY* baby.

How sad that she cannot say *our* baby.

The woman is a professing Christian.

I simply cannot bring myself to pray for success in her endeavor although there are several friends of hers (also professing Christians) who are so excited about it.

I agree raising a child correctly takes to parents. a man and a women because the differing sexes have different lessons to teach that child. when there is no man in the house a boy has no role model for his behavior with the opposite sex. and a girl has no bellwether on what is expectable behavior of the opposite sex to her.

both dads and Mom are needed for a emotional healthy child.

I am single and would never have a child on purpose unless I had a partner in the endeavor.
