But who lost interest in whom? Did the woman lose interests, then say the marriage was bad because there wasn’t any good sex in it? That’s what it sounds like to me. But maybe I missed the real reason the sex life was bad.

Did she ever try to find out why? Did they ever discuss it? Or did she just wait until he had an affair? Something is missing here.
