The Saints plan to kneel as a team "in solidarity" prior to the national anthem Sunday before standing for the song, quarterback Drew Brees said.
Brees tweeted the gesture was "a way to show respect to all." The Saints are set to play the Dolphins in London on Sunday.

There is some.... ching.... errr... some ling.... errr...
some.. thing.... outside our plane!
And it ain’t straight!
Lol!
Antics like this show they are a bunch of emotionally disturbed morons.
Hey Brees....why don’t you and your fellow a**holes stay over there in Londonistan?
That’s where you belong, moron.
There’s a monster on the wing!!!
The arrogance of a bunch of overpaid, brain damaged thugmonkeys to believe their opinions matter more than millions of deplorables. To hell with football. Maybe they’ll meet some Muslims while in London.
Unfortunately, it can be argued that they are products of our own creation.
They have been fawned over like minor deities from an early age. It is infuriating, sickening and sad that they should be so egocentric and so full of hubris. But this is a logical outcome.
We do the same thing with actors, musicians, politicians. With pretty much the same results. And the irony is that they have no respect for the sycophantic, fawning fans that made them.
In solidarity of what? Lies and slander against the police? Hate against America?

BS! There is no 'all' when issues are diametrically opposed.
...is morally no different than kneeling during the anthem.
Nonsense. It's totally different. So different, that it signifies the beginning of a yuge victory for our side in the culture wars. The Enemy is in the process of suffering a severe rebuke as I write this.
Why? Because, before long, there will be no disrespectful kneeling whatsoever during the anthem, and that will make kneeling before the anthem look even sillier.
The few remaining stubborn assh-les NFL players who do keep kneeling will feel increasing pressure to "get your hands out of my pocket" from those NFL players and personnel who would like to continue earning money in this lucrative entertainment enterprise they've engineered over the past couple of decades.
And when these divisive players' contracts expire, they're going to find out that suddenly, their services are no longer in as much demand as they might have thought.
Money talks, and bullsh-t walks.
This ain't no Marxist playground; this is American free enterprise; this is delicious.
Kudos to the President and his supporters—who just happen to comprise a yuge segment of the NFL's fan base—for collectively squashing this Leftist BS like an insect.
I hope the Left has enjoyed their little NFL temper tantrum, because it's about to end, and the grownups are about to reassert their authority. The players might as well get this childish behavior out of their system during this rapidly closing window of opportunity.
NFL owners, players, and staff, having been suitably chastened, will return to doing their jobs—entertaining us. In rapid succession, from college and high school, all the way down to the Pop Warner level, American football leagues will all follow suit by ending these shameful anthem protests.
Like a lover's spat, most NFL fans who have forsaken the league will slowly but steadily drift back, now that it's been established who wears the pants in this relationship: the consumer—the fans—the ones who ultimately pay these entertainers' salaries—us.
And all will be well in the American football world once again.
The writing is on the wall. A blind man could see it with a cane. It's going to be fun watching these wayward children squirm as they absorb their discipline and snap back into line.
Once in a while, and especially in situations like this, it's important to let these conceited millionaires know which side their bread is buttered on when it comes to presenting this entertainment product we call the NFL. We've just reminded them who the boss is—we, the consumer, are. Period. End of story.
What a shame that you are right. And the monsters society has made now rise to demand obedience. Pay and obey.
I'm not sure if Take 5 Oil Change still has Kenny Vacarro in their commericals (the manager wasn't sure when I inquired), but I made sure to get my oil changed somewhere else yesterday.
Drew Brees has enough past goodwill build up with the city that I don't despise him like the guys from last week who sat for the Anthem, but I'm very disappointed in him. He's a great guy, but this is a disgrace and he should be ashamed of what he's doing. Sometimes you have to go against the prevailing (his team's) opinion and stand up for what's right. He failed that test.
