I’m going to be that the “alleged” murderer will take a plea when she realizes that the D.A. has given a lighter sentence/freebie pass to the husband. She kills the woman married to the man she is having an affair with? They marry later and are currently married? There is a slam dunk plea deal for exchange of testimony IMHO.

Sounds like they knew it was her all along but didn’t have the hard evidence. Now maybe they do. Going to be hard to prosecute after so many years unless they have hard evidence that does not rely on witnesses.
