The incredible thing is that a master’s degree is usually required for teaching certificate. Why it should take such a high degree makes no sense in the first place, but for them to be, in large part, so uneducated belies the notion they learned a thing.

Yep. Unfortunately the push for more black (and Hispanic) teachers in areas with significant black (and Hispanic) populations has led to an even lower standards and quality of teaching.
