With President Donald Trump's attacks against protesting NFL players still reverberating, the league's TV partners decided to air live coverage of the national anthem before Week 3 games. Those partners left out a key element of the coverage: crowd shots of angry fans.
Networks typically do not televise the national anthem except for the Super Bowl and other special occasions, but they recognized there would be intense viewer interest this past weekend.

They will give tickets away before they broadcast empty stadiums.
NFL is an important product for the networks. They pay hundreds of millions for this content and have a huge investment in protecting the image.
Do we really have to ask?
Because they aren’t interested in broadcasting the truth?
It’s a huge player for corporations as well, break the NFL, and the whole thing come tumbling down.
Because they do not want to embarrass the NFL ownership by the reality of empty seats in the stadiums.
Because they show protestors, and people who support protests to try to legitimatize them, but ignore the tens of millions who hate the protests.

I am quite aware of what we are going through. It’s all about power and control, The NFL is more than glad to trade some control over most of their fans for the most control over some of their fans. They are not interested in keeping fans that can think for themselves and are immune to their consultation and are to fast to take that test.
It no longer matters if the vast majority of the NFL blacks decide to honor the flag now because they are trash now. It would be a fake gesture and I will never forget the rotten bunch of anti Americans.
I had seen a still picture of a group of NFL fans booing last weekend when the players took a knee during the playing the National Anthem. Seen even one fan give the fingwr. Kid you not.
Correction: the finger.
Given the fact that many people who actually paid for their tickets are burning them or otherwise not showing up, I am not sure giving tickets away will make much difference.
If your protest against the NFL is sincere, you're not going to the games on principle, not because you can't afford the ticket.
Same here - was at his last one in Mobile, AL when he had his “bookend” event. Being there and seeing the coverage are too very different things.
Because the NFL protests are associated with BLM and anti-Trump, thus the MSM support and “fake” coverage.
It’s like the NFL doesn’t believe that Trump voters really exist.
Same for the msm, and the GOPe
There will be no shortage of BLM sympathizers eager to accept discount tickets. Gate revenues will drop, but there will still be a butt in every seat to make the optics work.
