Your definition of porn vis-a-vis Playboy was already well into the mainstream long before Playboy came along. There’s no difference between the typical Playboy photo spread and what appeared in paintings by so many collected artists of the previous 500 years.
Playboy wasn’t about the ‘porn’, it was about the lifestyle that we now know to be full of irresponsibility and risk.
I guess I’ll have to burn my husband’s copy of The Playboy Cookbook which he brought to the marriage!
