My husband was reprimanding me about my spending a couple years ago. I had only spent $42 on clothes and accessories. Why should I spend more? I have 40 years’ worth of clothes, shoes, purses, built up from my working years so I might as well wear that stuff.
Sounds like my mother. My wife and her family are huge spenders. At least I get a decent Salvation Army deduction every year
