I agree. Women think plastic surgery to overcome facial aging gives them a way out of the age-old dilemma, face or figure, but it doesnt, because, as you say, it merely either leads to, or throws into prominence, other problems (I cant count the times Ive seen obvious facelifts above aging necks, or sinewy arms).
I’ve thought about it through the years. Now I am OK to be my age, don’t color my hair—that’s another thing so off-putting, when the face doesn’t match the hair. But I am under no pressure to do otherwise.
